The Central Region Development Commission (CRDC) is a Development Finance Institution established on 27th November 2003 to drive sustainable development across Uganda’s Central Region. CRDC unifies development efforts across key sectors—industry, infrastructure, agriculture, technology, tourism, and hospitality—to drive inclusive growth.

Mandated to catalyze socio-economic development, CRDC offers long-term financing, along with financial, investment, and business advisory services—helping to close funding gaps that traditional banks often cannot address. By working closely with government, private sector, and development partners, the Commission champions innovation, supports livelihoods, and responsibly manages Uganda’s natural resources for future generations.
